About Mission Endure

Mission Endure is a website created by Rick and Matthew Marshall.  We are passionate followers of Christ and the reason we started MissionEndure comes directly from Jesus’ Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24.  Jesus is answering His disciples’ question about when the end times will occur and he says,

“For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for these things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.”

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. And at that time many will  fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. And because lawlessness is multiplied, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole  world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:5-14 Legacy Standard Bible)

As our world continues in a worsening downward spiral, our mission as Christians is about glorifying the Lord, being obedient to Him, and enduring till the end.  We believe everything that is happening is part of God’s will to triumph over Satan and create a new heaven and a new earth. Jesus will bring His church to heaven with him (the rapture) before the tribulation, but Christians must be prepared to endure discrimination, hatred, betrayal, and death between now and then. This blog will hopefully help us all prepare for the difficult times ahead.  We intend to provide our thoughts on scripture, tips on planning for difficult times, and our encouragement for other believers as we get closer to the Lord’s return.

Thank you for your obedience
